I have managed the Twitter account for a local village football club for three years. It has exceeded all expectations with 2700 quality followers (there’s no point in having any old follower who has no interest in what you do).
This account has several aims: engage players and parents, raise the profile of the club in the local community and promote the annual tournament (a hugely important fundraiser). Twitter works alongside Facebook, and encourages user generated content. Kred score of 700 places it in the top 20% worldwide.
The tournament campaign has focused on creating memories for players. Along with an email newsletter, this has doubled entries over last year’s figures resulting in an increased return of approximately £2000.
Do follow @kidlingtonythfc and see how players, parents and other clubs all engage brilliantly with this important local community organisation.
WowWitney is incredibly successful, celebrating Witney’s wonderful blend of independent businesses and exciting local events with both locals and visitors on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
In just four months, all platforms have developed a large (and more importantly, engaged) following, with very positive feedback from local businesses.
Following an audit of Woodstock Christmas Market, Caroline felt she was comfortable with Facebook and Instagram so Blossom is helping manage their Twitter feed.
The initial campaign aims are to raise awareness, promote stall holders and engage with local businesses. We amended the bio, reviewed images and created effective Twitter lists all before starting to Tweet!
All Twitter analytics (impressions, retweets and replies) have grown 10 fold since Blossom has managed the account, ensuring the success of the market. Moz ranks the Twitter feed as highly influential, second in Woodstock only to Blenheim Palace!
